In this course, you’ll learn how to structure a complete Reiki session, how to work with three powerful intermediate Reiki symbols, and how to begin practicing ethically and intuitively as a Reiki practitioner.

This level introduces the core tools, techniques, and symbols that shape your Reiki practice going forward.
You’ll explore:
The 3 intermediate Reiki symbols—how and when to use them
Techniques for sending distance Reiki
Building the structure of a safe, effective healing session
Energy ethics, practitioner mindset, and sacred space creation
How to hold space for others without depletion
Practice, reflection, and community support
You’ll also begin working with the official ICRT manual, and receive guidance on integrating new techniques into your sessions.

Meet Your Instructor
Hi, I’m Amy Alward–Holy Fire Karuna ReikiTM Master Teacher, shamanic practitioner, sports massage therapist, and service dog partner. My partner, Rila, and I know that taking a Reiki class in the close perpetual presence of a big furry dog will worry some, and thrill others. We hope you are thrilled, but if not, we understand that everyone has to find the right teacher for them.
I used to be a professor, then learned that life path was not for me, and I turned my experience of burnout, depression, and PTSD into a joyful life through Reiki. When you’re ready, I would love to share what I’ve learned. It would be an honor to witness your personal transformation.
