Live Online Reiki Class via Zoom (includes access to replays and resources)

1-Day Intensive: Ideal for those already offering one-on-one healing work (like massage therapists, energy workers, yoga teachers, counselors, or medical professionals).

Reiki I Class Location Options
Online Reiki I Class
Join from anywhere via Zoom in a live, co-creative learning experience. These classes are intentionally offered in real time to allow Reiki energy to move fully among all participants—supporting both conscious and energetic connection.
Please plan to attend live. This is not a passive or pre-recorded course; it’s a shared field of learning and healing. If you’re unable to make a session, you may be invited to join the next full class series instead. Recordings are not offered as a general rule, and are not a substitute for the lived experience of this work.

What is Reiki, exactly?
A gentle, hands-on or hands-off energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, balance, and self-healing. It is a set of techniques that allow us to work with the Reiki energy to promote healing and well-being. The energy exists, the techniques are simply ways to access and interact with it.
Can anyone learn Reiki?
Yes! Reiki is easy to learn, safe to practice, and open to everyone—no spiritual background or prior training needed. The techniques are simple to learn and use. Ultimately, our practice becomes our own, and the point of walking deliberately through this material is so you can try things out, then refine the techniques that work for you and your practice.
Will I be certified to give Reiki after this class?
Yes, you’ll receive a Reiki I certificate, allowing you to practice Reiki on yourself. For working with others, Reiki II is recommended.
What if I can't make the live class?
Part of why Reiki classes are only offered live is to allow the Reiki energy to help connect all the participants. We learn from each other on a physical and conscious level–but we also learn from one another on an energetic and subconscious level. When you miss class, you miss out on the best information and rare interactions. It changes the dynamics of the group as well. Recordings and replays are technologically possible, but they simply cannot replace the interactions that could have happened live. Please choose your class wisely, and commit to the best of your ability–or wait until you are able to do so. It will be worth it.

Hi, I’m Amy Alward—Reiki Master Teacher, shamanic practitioner, and founder of Emerge Guided Healing. I’ve been helping people reconnect with their energy, intuition, and healing path for over 13 years. I do work with a big-hearted and fluffy service dog, Rila. If you have concerns about this feel free to reach out, but we also recognize that not everyone will be comfortable working with us as a pair. We wish you to find the right fit for your Reiki teacher.
This Reiki I class brings together everything I wish I’d had when I began my own journey—a stroll through the material with loads of time to try things on and practice at home between classes.
As a Professional Member of the Reiki Membership Association, I have received all levels of my Reiki training from International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) Licensed Reiki Master Teachers.
