What types of one-on-one sessions do you offer?

I specialize in a fluid, integrated approach to wellness. My primary physical modality is targeted sports massage and structural bodywork, focused heavily on injury recovery, exercise recovery, injury prevention, and pain relief. I also offer dedicated Reiki energy healing and shamanic healing practices. Because every session is styled entirely around your personal comfort level, you can choose a single dedicated focus or seamlessly request a customized blend of both physical and energetic care. I charge a single hourly rate, regardless of modality, so building a custom session that fits your needs is absolutely no problem.

Can I receive Reiki or guided healing online, and how does it differ from an in-person appointment?
Energy work transcends physical location. Virtual sessions are conducted live via a secure video link from the comfort of your home. We begin with a brief conversation to set your personal intentions and review your goals. Then, while you rest in a comfortable, quiet space, the session takes place remotely. Clients report the exact same deep relaxation, systemic nervous system regulation, and profound sense of peace online as they do face-to-face in our Chico studio. The advantage is, they don't have to leave the house, and can often drift right to sleep to integrate the healing right away. This is a huge advantage for those who may not be able to travel or meet others face to face.
Do I need experience to join a Reiki class, monthly Reiki Share, or special event?
Not at all. Our beginning Reiki classes are explicitly designed for absolute beginners with zero background in energy work. You will learn the historical foundations, basic energetic anatomy, and practical self-healing hand placements in a completely grounded, supportive environment. Every student receives their introductory workbook, personalized attunements, and hands-on practice to confidently channel Reiki for themselves and others. In addition, all of our other community events are open to everyone.

General Philosophy and Policies
Does your work replace routine medical or chiropractic care?

No. Our practice operates on a strict science-positive philosophy that respects modern medicine. Our therapies are intended to act as supportive, complementary care hand-in-hand with your primary physicians, physical therapists, chiropractors, or mental health professionals. We do not diagnose illnesses, perform spinal adjustments, or prescribe medications.

What is your policy for illness, cancellations, or rescheduling?

Your health and safety are our top priorities. If you are experiencing a fever or symptoms of a contagious illness, we ask that you reschedule your appointment immediately for everyone's safety. Rescheduling due to illness is always free of charge. For all other standard rescheduling or cancellation requests, we kindly require at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations or no-shows with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged the full rate of the scheduled service at our discretion.
