What We Explore in Our Time Together
Structured across five, interactive (live) sessions, we meet, practice, and discuss techniques in real time--whether you sit with us in-person or join our live virtual classroom. Every course within the Usui/Holy Fire® III curriculum includes:

We move forward with a clear set of objectives and goals for each class meeting, ensuring you leave fully confident in your practice. Our techniques are directly descended from Dento (traditional Usui) Reiki via the lineage and writings of Hiroshi Doi, as well as the world-recognized standards of the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) as taught by William Rand.
SESSION 01
Amplifying & Grounding Energy
- Receive your first Level II Placement
- Discuss the Reiki symbols, and how they can be used.
- Work with basic Energetic Hygiene concepts of grounding, charging your light, and creating a 7-directions healing space.
- Receive Reiki: The Healing Touch by William Rand
- Review and revise Kenyoku bathing using the Power symbol.
Homework: 1. read symbol and technique chapters; 2. begin 21 days of meditation on Power symbol; 3. Offer formal session to a loved one.
SESSION 02 & 03
Mental and Emotional Clearing
- Continue to master the Emotional/Mental and Distance Symbols.
- Symbol Quiz
- Practice Client interviews and formal sessions.
- Master the principles of energetic hygiene and holding space for others.
- Practice offing Reiki with symbols, Gyoshi Ho, Reiji Ho, and continue to work with Byosen scanning.
Homework: 1. Continue reading in the Purple manual; 2. continue with daily Reiki symbol meditations; 3. practice daily use of Reiki in daily life.
SESSION 04 & 05
Professional Practice & Synthesis
- Explore Jacki Kiri Joka Ho and Enkaku Chiryo (Distance Healing).
- Practice formal sessions in-person and distance.
- Discuss professional practice standards, ethics, and business fundamentals.
Homework: 1. Continue with daily Reiki symbol meditations; 2. complete reading in Purple manual; 3. offer a session to someone new to Reiki in person and distance; 4. attend a Reiki Share.

ICRT Reiki Level I/II Training Manual:
Receive a comprehensive, foundational manual written by William Rand to convey Western and Japanese Reiki techniques at the intermediate level. This includes the basic concepts covered in Reiki I as well as full discussion of the Symbols and Level II techniques.
Custom Level II Practice Guidebook:

Registration & Business Policies
- Deposits, Cancellations, & Refunds: seat deposits are non-refundable but are fully transferrable (notice must be given prior to the start of class). If you need to shift your schedule, your tuition credit can be applied to any future class or session within 12 months.
- Attendance Requirement: due to the progressive nature of placements and ignitions, full attendance during scheduled class times is required for certification.

Our training is designed for absolute beginners, metaphysically curious seekers, and seasoned healing professionals alike. Whether you are seeking deep personal transformation or stepping into a career in professional energy work, our progressive offerings walk you through the skills development and healing tools you need. It is for everyone. It is for you.
Do your online classes use pre-recorded videos?
Absolutely not. Real-time, live interaction is essential to the energy transferance that is at the heart of the Reiki Hado or "energy wave" that descends from the founder, Mikao Usui. All classes are delivered live, and face-to-face, with interaction between you and the other students valued. You will practice techniques, ask questions, and shre energy alongside Amy, Rila and your whole cohort (yes, especially online).
There are video tutorials available in the Google Classroom to help remind you of techniques we covered in class, but no classes are delivered by recording.
What happens if I have to miss a class session?
Because our "SLOW Reiki" cohorts and intensives rely on progressive live placemetns, Holy Fire® ignitions, and hands-on practice, full live attendance is required to receive your formal certification. If an unforeseen emergency arises, please text Amy immeditately to discuss options.
Smaller cohorts may have the ability to flex their schedule here and there with the agreement of the rest of the group--this won't be feasible with larger classes. If the commitment is concerning, talk to Amy about options.
Private "make-up" sessions can be arranged in some cases, but may require additional payment.
Lineage & Prerequisites
I was trained in a different Reiki lineage. Can I take your advanced classes?
Yes! We warmly welcome practitioners from all backgrounds, lineages, and styles. Because our curriculum is progressive, you simply need to provide a copy of your highest prior certification when you register to enroll in your next advanced level.
New master-level students are required to take Reiki III with their master-level classes. This advanced techniques class also covers Amy's approach to energetic hygiene for client sessions and in teaching. This additional class puts you on even footing with students who studied with Emerge from day one.
Don't worry, you can take both the ART class and the Master level you want for the same price as the Master level alone (see bundles above).
What is the difference between the "SLOW Reiki" cohort and the intensives?
The SLOW Reiki Cohort is a 6-month transformational journey that meets weekly or every other week (depending on level) to give you ample time to practice, complete milestones, and weave Reiki into your daily lifestyle. This format is designed to help people who want to develop their skills more than check a certification box. Spreading out the class meetings gives you time to practice a technique at home, then return to class to share experiences, ask questions, and come up with next steps together.
The Practitioner Intensive is a condensed, full-day or weekend format designed specifically for experienced professionals (like those already seeing and helping clients one-on-one in other fields) who want to rapidly expand into Reiki offerings. Students in this track receive the same support materials as the SLOW Reiki cohorts, but are left to integrate outside of class meetings as they best see fit.
Reiki II Questions
I took Reiki Level I from a different teacher or a different lineage. Can I take your Reiki II class?
Yes, absolutely. We warmly welcome seekers and practitioners from all lineages (including Usui Shiki Ryoho, Western Reiki, and independent teachers). Because Reiki Level II requires a solid foundation, you will simply need to upload/bring a copy of your Level I certificate prior to class to begin. Easy.
What is the advanced Unity Fire Reiki Certification?
All students receive standard, internationally recognized certification by completing class. Our classes align with the ICRT curriculum, and cover all of the topics presented in official ICRT training manuals.
Dedicated practitioners are offered the option to earn additional certification by meeting practice milestones: Unity Fire Certification. Those who earn this certifcation are not only well-versed in the ICRT practices for their Reiki level, they have demonstrated a commitment to Reiki as a daily practice for themselves, their clients, and their community.
How does learning sacred symbols work in an online or "Slow Reiki" format?
Beautifully and deliberately! Instead of rushing through the symbols in a single afternoon, our paced format gives your nervous system and muscle memory time to truly absorb them. You will learn the exact stroke orders, meanins, how to use, and then also have time to work with and integrate these frequencies while still attending class. Practice sessions, time to go home and work on your own, and then returning to class with questions really help so many students gain confidence with these energetic tools before class ends.
Can you really learn how to do distant healing effectively over Zoom?
Of course! And what better format to put that to the test than when we are already distant from one another? Energy is completely unbound by physical time or geographic space, and practicing online actually provides a phenomenal, real-time proof of this concept. During our live interactive sessions, you will actively project distance healing to your cohort partners across the virtual space and receive immediate validation and feedback on what they felt, building absolute condfidence in your skills.
